Elysium Lake Farm & Fishing Lodge

Located on Lakelse Lake near Terrace, BC, Elysium Lake Farm & Fishing Lodge is a family-owned business operated by Al and Jennifer.

Combining sustainable agriculture with guided fishing experiences, they offer visitors an authentic Northwest BC experience centered around local food, outdoor adventure, and personalized hospitality.

Using regenerative farming practices, Elysium grows specialty garlic, vegetables, and herbs while producing artisan sourdough bread and baked goods sold at the Skeena Valley Farmers Market. Their commitment to sustainable growing methods reflects their passion for healthy food and environmental stewardship.

In addition to farming, Elysium operates a small-scale fishing lodge and guide service on the Skeena, Kitimat, and surrounding waterways. With over 35 years of outdoor guiding experience, Al provides personalized fishing adventures and instruction for anglers of all skill levels, while Jennifer’s background in tourism and community development helps create a welcoming guest experience.

“Community Futures 16/37 helped us take our dream of combining sustainable farming and guided fishing experiences and turn it into a reality. Their support gave us the confidence and resources to build a business that reflects our values and allows us to share our lifestyle with others.”
